Busy Summer

I don't know how this happened, but I think we may have over-extended ourselves this summer.  I think we are going to have a blast, but we really don't have too many weekends where our schedules aren't packed.  Oh well, I guess as they say, this is our last "free" summer, so we better make the best of it.  Here is a preview of all of the exciting events we have coming up:

MAY

6th - 8th: My birthday weekend!  No big plans, probably just dinner with friends and maybe a lake day-trip.

14th - 15th: Blake Lane's wedding in Ozark.  A group of our college girlfriends will be making the trip down to Opp to stay with my parents and enjoy the festivities.  I'm really looking forward to hanging out with our group of guy friends because we never seem to have the time to all get together, and this is the perfect opportunity.

19th - 22nd: Joey and I have all intentions on going on a "babymoon" to the beach.  We are looking for a place to stay.  If you know me well, you know I'm not a fan of sand or sharks, but I love the atmosphere at the beach, so we are looking for a condo with a pool to stay in for cheap or free.  If you have any suggestions, let us know.

27th - 30th: Memorial Day weekend.  I think the plan is to spend this one at the lake with some friends.  If not, I'm sure we'll be traveling somewhere!

JUNE

4th: Our first baby shower.  Some of my wonderful girlfriends are throwing us a couples shower in Birmingham and I can't wait to get everyone together and celebrate Caleb's immanent arrival.

11th: Our prenatal classes that last all day. Should be interesting with Joey.

16th - 20th: Connecticut/Vermont for Megan and Dan's wedding.  We will be traveling into Connecticut on Thursday and heading straight to Mount Snow, Vermont for the wedding.  We will be there until Sunday, and then are traveling to Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire that day to stay until Monday with Joey's family, and then will be heading back to Birmingham.

24th - 26th: One of our friends has so graciously offered her lake house on Lake Martin for a gathering of our friends for the weekend for Joey's 30th Birthday!  Wow I married an old man :)

JULY

June 29th - July 4th: My parents have rented a condo at Smith Lake for them, us, and Nick, Kayla, and Noah.  We are heading down Wednesday night and staying until Monday.  This will be my last big hoorah before I hunker down and wait for Caleb to come.

Although we are going to be super busy, I'm glad we have all of these activities going on because it is going to make the time until Caleb gets here just fly by!
