Birmingham Baby Shower

This past weekend, we had our first baby shower hosted by some of my wonderful girl friends.  It was absolutely beautiful - they really outdid themselves!  The food and desserts were delicious, the decorations were perfect, and everyone had a blast!  They even had some O'Douls (non-alcoholic beer) for me, so if you see me with a beer in any of these pictures, I promise it was non-alcoholic!  Caleb is going to be so lucky to have such amazing aunts and uncles, and you could really tell how loved he already is by the shower and the gifts we got.  We racked up!

Here are a few pictures from the evening (special shout out to Katie for being the paparazzi and taking such wonderful pictures):

This is the dessert table, which consisted of a cake, s'more pops, caramel and strawberry truffles, chocolate macaroons, jelly beans, and fetus cookies (these were in the shape of a fetus haha).  Emily made all of the desserts except the fetus cookies, which Christine made.  There has already been one shout out to Emily's side business, but seriously, if you are in the Birmingham area and need cakes, cupcakes, desserts, etc. - check out Prime Cakes.
This was the non-alcoholic drink table.  All of the banners were made by my friend Katie and match the colors in Caleb's room, so I can keep them.  Also, the letters were made by Sarah and are in burlap (which we should all know by now is one of my favorite fabrics).
A picture of me and the hostesses (Emily, Sarah, Julie, Suzy, and Christine) - I swear I'm not that short, they were just all wearing heels and I opted for flats.

Thank you for everyone that was able to make it.  We really appreciate you guys being there.  Also, a special thanks to my hostesses for the AH-MAZING shower - can't wait until you guys start having kids so I can return the favor :)  We are truly blessed to have such a great group of friends and family surrounding us.
