Catching Up

Wow - it has been a really long time.  I am going to kick myself later for not doing this every month, but I guess its better late than never.  Here is a catch up post on Caleb's measurements and what he is doing at 9 months.

TWO MONTH CHECKUP
Weight - 13 pounds 11 ounces
Height - 23.75 inches

FOUR MONTH CHECKUP
Weight - 14 pounds 13 ounces
Height - 25.5 inches

SIX MONTH CHECKUP
Weight - 19 pounds 14 ounces (90th percentile)
Height - 26.75 inches (75th percentile)

NINE MONTH CHECKUP
Weight - 24 pounds 11 ounces (95th percentile)
Height - 30 inches (95th percentile)

So here is what Caleb is up to at nine months:
- He is crawling, scooting, basically getting into everything.
- He has two teeth, both on the bottom middle.
- He wears 12 to 18 month clothes.
- He is in size 4 diapers.
- He loves to eat.  The ladies at daycare have to hide his bottle from him when they are warming it, and now that he is crawling he tries to crawl over to the other kids while they are getting their baby food in hopes they will share.
- He is sleeping starting at 8:00 and we usually have to wake him up to get ready for the day at 6:45.
- He is FEARLESS, will pull up on the couch and then let go without any hesitations - he definitely keeps us on our toes.
- He will wave bye bye on demand, if he is not too busy playing.  He doesn't always raise his hand, but he will turn it side to side.
- He shakes his head no all the time, although he doesn't know what it means (or at least I don't think he does).
- He is the happiest baby.  He is always smiling and is hardly ever fussy unless he is hungry or really sleepy.
- The pediatrician told us to start him on whole milk and real food and he should be off formula when our next container runs out, and be off baby food by one year.
- Everyone tells us he looks just like me, but he has his daddy's toes and ears, and is happy in the mornings like his daddy (definitely did not get that from me).
- He LOVES Berkley and is very curious about Miles.
- He loves to play peek-a-boo and for his dad to throw him in the air.

We say all the time that we are nervous to have another one because Caleb has been so good.  Joey and I are so blessed!
