One Year Update

Our little man finally had his one year check up last week, which is part of the reason I am just now doing an update - the other reason is because I'm just too darn busy.  Caleb is 28.4 pounds (97th percentile) and 31.5 inches (90-95th percentile), so we still have a big boy on our hands.  A lot has changed over the past couple months ...
 - He wears anywhere from 18 month to 2T clothes
 - He is in size 5 diapers
 - He sleeps from 7:00 - 6:30
 - He is on whole milk (since 9+ months) and table food (since 10+ months)
 - He is in the big boy carseat facing forward (since 11+ months)
 - He no longer has a paci so he talks (and cries) a lot more
 - He got his first official haircut and I cried because they did an awful job
 - He has stranger anxiety (which to him a stranger is anyone but me, Joey, and his daycare teachers)
 - He throws temper tantrums including laying on the floor and kicking his leg, but all of that is erased when he gives you a dimple-filled smile or one of those big open mouth kisses on command
 - He only says a few words, and I think he only says mama in context, sometimes I feel like he says ball or bye bye, but who knows
 - He still only has two teeth
 - He will wave and sign "more" when he isn't being stubborn
 - He loves to eat, and has started to be a bit more picky but will eat fruit at anytime
 - He is practically running and loves to be chased and tickled
 - He has the most hearty laugh that you can't help but giggle at

Even with the temper tantrums, he still is the sweetest, most lovable little boy.  We are blessed!
