Christmas 2014

As I mentioned in the last post, this Christmas season was by far the most fun! Caleb was old enough to really enjoy all of the activities and we started a lot of fun traditions that we can hopefully carry forward. Like making reindeer sandwiches for lunch on Christmas eve ...

And making snowman pizzas for dinner. Caleb thought the cheese was the best part!

Charlotte took her first big girl bath on Christmas Eve, and of course it had to be with her big brother!

And then we tried to get annual pictures in front of the Christmas tree. The first time wasn't super successful, we couldn't get them both to look at the camera and smile at the same time.
Charlotte was not excited about her brother trying to hold her back.
But man, can they be sweet at times!

We spread some reindeer food to make sure they could find our house!

And then settled down to watch Polar Express while Santa's cookies were baking!
And then we tried Christmas tree pictures again and they were a success!

Both kids looking at the camera and smiling at the same time ... its a Christmas miracle!

Putting out Santa's cookies and chocolate milk (Caleb wanted to make sure he had "choc-y" milk because that is what he likes)!
Santa must have loved his cookies because he left lots of goodies for the kids!

After opening presents and having breakfast at the house, we headed down to the lake to see if Santa left anything for the grandkids there. He did leave a really cool play tent for the kids to enjoy!

Nestled up in their sleeping bags in their cool new tent!
Overall we had a really great Christmas and I know they will just get more fun from here on out! Can't wait to continue all the traditions next year ... that's the good thing about waiting so long to blog, we are over half way to another Christmas!
