The Beginning of the End

Well, I did it.  I finally started a blog.  I've been waiting for a "special occasion" to start it (i.e. first anniversary, new year, etc.) but now seemed like as good a time as any.  I'm sure this is going to take up a lot of my free time, hence the title, but I also think it will be worth it to look back someday and see what we were up to x-number of years ago.  I'm the type of person that doesn't post many things on facebook because so many of my "facebook friends" are not really friends, so they don't necessarily need to be updated on my life.  But, I like to know what is going on with others, so maybe this way, they can know what is going on with me.
