Babymoon

Joey and I headed down to Destin on Thursday morning for a "babymoon" as our last vacation alone before Caleb gets here (and probably for a while afterwards).  We stayed in a two-bedroom house located on the bay side of Baytowne Wharf.  It was perfect for the two of us, nice and spacious, with a pool for me only a block away, and a stocked pond for Joey only five steps outside our back door.  We will definitely be going back!

As soon as we got down there, all Joey could talk about was wanting to go deep sea fishing on Saturday, however I didn't think I should go with him (that much sun + rocking boat + fishing pole sticking on my stomach = bad idea to me), so my mom and dad came down on Friday night and we all went to dinner, and then took some pictures on the beach, and then dad and Joey went deep sea fishing Saturday while mom and I did a little shopping and R&R by the pool.

Here is a picture that my mom took of one of Joey's fish.  He caught almost 20 fish in the three days we were there, and he had three or four that were much bigger than this one, but they are on my camera and I don't have those pictures right now.

Overall, we had a WONDERFUL vacation and it couldn't have come at a better time.
